This course taught the skills needed to utilize Microsoft Office 2007 programs.  The course started with Word 2007, followed by Excel 2007 and ended with Power Point.  One of the assignments given during the Word segment, was to create a flyer for a Science Fair.  The exercise taught us how to use word art, add clip art, change font color, create a table and use shading.
The Excel project I have posted taught how to format cells, merge cells, use functions, create footers and create headings.  The Excel section continued to teach how to create graphs and charts and transfer this information to a Word document, how to arrange data, adjust margins and how to start new sheets in a workbook.
The last section, Power Point, was the highlight of the class for me.  I learned how to create a storyboard, use slide layouts, add tables, clip art, transitions and animations.  I believe I will use power point frequently in my career.  I have attached a project I created in powerpoint.  For this assignment, I was asked to put my self in an explorers shoes and create a presentation to receive funding for my exploration.
